What kinds of medications can you help me get?

Our assistance covers most maintenance medications, which are prescriptions that treat chronic or long-term conditions. Some examples include prescriptions for:

  • Alzheimer's disease
  • Arthritis
  • Asthma
  • Diabetes
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Gastrointestinal conditions
  • Glaucoma
  • Heart disease
  • Hepatitis C
  • High blood pressure
  • High cholesterol
  • Hormone disorders
  • Osteoporosis
  • Seizures
  • Thyroid conditions

Is there a limit on the number of medications for which I can get assistance?

No. We can help you get as many prescriptions as you need. We’ve helped clients get as many as 17 different prescription medications.

What is the age limit for getting assistance?

There is no age limit. We can help everyone from infants to the elderly.

Are there income requirements for getting assistance?

Income requirements vary by pharmaceutical company. If you can’t afford your prescriptions, contact us to find out if we can assist you in your particular situation.

How long does it take to get my free or affordable medications?

The initial process can take from four to six weeks from your initial application to receipt of your medications.

How much medication will I receive?

You will receive a 90–120 day supply, depending on the medication.

Where do I pick up my medication?

Prescriptions will be mailed directly to your house or doctor’s office. If a medication must be mailed directly to your doctor’s office, you will be notified to pick it up there.

Can I receive assistance for diabetes supplies?

Yes, we can help with meters, strips, lancets and syringes. Insulin pumps are not covered.

If I have a small co-pay, how do I pay?

We accept checks, money orders, credit or debit cards. No cash will be accepted for co-pays.

Do I have to re-apply when I run out of my medication?

Let us know when you are down to about two weeks’ worth of medication, and we will take care of ordering your refill for you. Enrollment in the program is good for one year. You will only need to re-apply for assistance once a year or if your doctor prescribes a new medication.

Are you only able to help people who can come to your office?

The process goes much quicker if you are able to come to our office, but we can help you through the mail. Our service is not limited to our physical locations. If you can see this website and are a resident of the United States, we can help you.
